Tear-outs
Tear-outs and removal, hauled the same visit.
Old carpet, floors, cabinets and above-ground pools: we take them out, haul every piece away and sweep, so your remodel can start.
Most remodels start with a mess nobody wants to deal with: carpet to pull, a floor to break up, cabinets to unscrew, or an old pool taking up the yard. We do that part. We work at houses, townhomes and rental homes across the Kansas City metro, give you a price from photos before we come out, and confirm it in writing on-site before we start.

DetailsHow it works
1. Send photos and room sizes
For cabinets or hardwood, tell us the year the home was built. For a pool, send its size.
2. Get a price, then line up the prep
Your plumber or electrician caps any lines before we arrive. If anything comes out of the ground, we call in a free utility locate, which takes at least two working days.
3. We tear it out, haul it and sweep
You get a firm written quote on-site before we start, and every piece leaves in our truck the same visit.
What we don't do
- Drywall, wall tile, shower surrounds or backsplashes
- Old vinyl, linoleum, or the black glue under old floors
- Glued-down floors, stair treads or subfloors
- In-ground pools and decks
- Plumbing, gas or electrical disconnects (a licensed pro does those first)
- Tear-outs at offices, stores or apartment buildings with five or more units
Already pulled it out yourself? We haul it like any other junk, at any home.

FAQ
Common questions about tear-outs
We pull up carpet, floating laminate, floor tile and nailed hardwood, take out kitchen cabinets and vanities, and take down above-ground pools, then haul all of it away. Each one has its own page with the details.
We do tear-outs at homes: houses, townhomes, and duplexes and other buildings with up to four units. Offices, stores and bigger apartment buildings usually need inspections first, so we don't take those tear-outs right now. We can still haul what someone else pulled out.
Homes built before 1978 can have lead paint, including in old floor finishes. Taking out cabinets or hardwood disturbs those surfaces, and that work needs EPA lead-safe certification, which we don't hold. So cabinet and hardwood removal is for homes built in 1978 or later, unless an older home has a written lead-free test. Carpet, laminate, tile and pools have no build-year limit, but painted trim in older homes always stays on the wall.
No. A licensed plumber or electrician caps any water, gas or power lines before we arrive, whether it's a sink, a dishwasher or a pool heater. Once everything is disconnected, we take it out and haul it.
We stop and leave it. Old vinyl flooring and the black glue under old floors can contain asbestos, and they should be tested before anyone disturbs them. If a test comes back clean in writing, we can finish the job.
Yes. Anything that comes out of the ground, like a pool's sand base or post pads, gets a free utility locate first. That takes at least two working days, so plan for it when you book.
