Our commitment

Royal Junk Pros wants every customer in the Kansas City metro — including customers who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or screen magnification — to be able to get a quote, book a pickup, and read our guides without barriers. Accessibility is part of how we build this site, not an afterthought.

Conformance target

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) across the site, in both English and Spanish. We say “target” deliberately: no automated tool or single review can guarantee perfect conformance, and we'd rather be honest than decorative about it. As of July 2026, every page template passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA scanning (axe-core) with zero violations, and those scans run automatically on every code change so regressions are caught before they ship. We additionally hand-test keyboard navigation, focus management, screen-reader semantics, 200% zoom, and small-screen reflow.

What that looks like here

  • Full keyboard operability — including our search, forms, FAQ, and dialogs, with visible focus indicators throughout
  • Screen-reader support: landmarks, correct heading structure, labeled controls, and status announcements for dynamic content
  • Color contrast meeting AA ratios, checked programmatically on every deploy
  • Touch targets sized for real hands, and layouts that reflow down to 320px and up to 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling
  • Animations honor your “reduce motion” system setting
  • A fully translated Spanish site (royaljunkpros.com/es) with correct language markup for assistive technology

Known limitations

  • The interactive service-area map is provided by Google Maps; its internal controls are Google's. Every city we serve is also listed as plain text beside it.
  • Some pages use placeholder imagery while we build our real job-photo library; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • We haven't yet run testing sessions with assistive-technology users. If you rely on AT and hit friction here, your report genuinely helps.
