Do you offer same-day junk removal?
Yes. Same-day requests booked before noon are usually picked up the same afternoon across the KC metro. Text us a photo of the load and we'll reply within 15 minutes with a quote and an arrival window.
What items can you take?
Furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, yard debris, construction debris, hoarding cleanouts, estate cleanouts, and general household junk. If you can point at it, we can almost always take it.
Do you do trash hauling or garbage removal?
Yes — with one honest distinction. We're a one-time junk pickup and trash hauling service, not a weekly garbage route: bagged trash, old furniture, cleanout debris, and anything your regular garbage service won't take, hauled the same day by the truckload. If your weekly cart is the problem, that's your city or trash hauler; if it's a pile, a garage, or a whole house — that's us. In short: we haul junk, any amount, from any floor.
Do you buy scrap metal, cars, or appliances? Do you drop off dumpsters?
No to all of it — and we get asked daily, so here it is plainly. We are a paid removal service, not a buyer: you pay us to haul things away, we never purchase scrap metal, vehicles, appliances, or any other material, and we don't pay for junk. If you're trying to sell metal, a local scrap yard is who you want. We also don't rent, deliver, or drop off dumpsters — there's no container left in your driveway. We bring a crew and a trailer, load everything by hand, and it's gone the same visit.
What can't you take?
For safety and legal reasons, we can't haul hazardous materials — gasoline or fuel, oil-based or wet paint, pesticides, chemicals, asbestos, medical waste, ammunition, explosives, propane tanks, car batteries, and fluorescent bulbs. We'll point you to the right Kansas City drop-off site for anything on that list and still haul everything else in your load. Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — fully licensed and insured. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance same-day for property managers, HOAs, and commercial clients.
Do you donate or recycle?
Whenever possible, yes. We have established donation partnerships with local Kansas City charities and recyclers. When items are donated, we send you a donation receipt within 14 days.
Do I need to be home for the pickup?
Not always. If items are outside, in the garage, or you can give us access instructions, we can complete the job without you home. Most customers prefer a quick on-site walk-through, but it's not required.

Pricing
Why volume-based pricing instead of by item?
Two reasons: (1) Disposal cost depends on truck volume, not item count. Volume pricing matches the underlying cost. (2) It's fairer to the customer. If your items take less space than expected, you pay less — that doesn't happen with by-item pricing.
Is the on-site quote different from the phone quote?
Sometimes — if the actual volume is meaningfully different from what you described, we'll re-quote. We always show you the written final quote and your written approval is required before we lift a thing.
Is there a trip minimum?
Yes — $100 for residential pickups within our standard KC-metro service area. It covers our dispatch, drive time, and the basic disposal fee for a single small item. For one appliance plus a few boxes, the next tier (1/8 truck) starts at $125.
Do you charge extra for same-day service?
No same-day premium for standard residential pickups. Very large multi-truck same-day jobs may carry a small expedite fee, always disclosed upfront.
What payment do you accept?
Cash, all major credit/debit cards, and Zelle. We do not require deposits for standard residential jobs. Commercial accounts can be billed net-15 with a signed agreement.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes — two ways to save: (1) first-time customers get $25 off with code JUNK25; (2) refer a friend and you both get $25 — they get $25 off their first job and you get a $25 credit. One discount per job; just mention it when you book.
Are you the cheapest junk removal in Kansas City?

How fast can you get to me?

What happens after I submit a quote request?

Do you require deposits?
No deposit required for standard residential jobs. We offer an optional $25 deposit booking flow if you want to lock in a slot, fully credited toward your final invoice.
How do donations work?
Whenever we can, items in donatable condition go to our local KC partners (Habitat ReStore, Goodwill, City Union Mission, Furniture Bank of KC). Within 14 days, you receive a donation receipt listing what was donated and where, for tax purposes.
Do you offer a Certificate of Insurance for property managers?
Yes — same-day. Send us the COI holder details and we'll email it within the hour. We carry $1M general liability.
Residential Junk Removal
Do I need to be home for a residential pickup?
Not always. If items are outside or you can give us access instructions, we can complete the job without you present. Most customers prefer to do a quick walk-through with us though — it only takes a few minutes.

Do you handle recurring property management work?
Yes. We have monthly and quarterly arrangements with several KC-metro property managers. We can quote a flat per-turnover rate or a volume rate, whichever you prefer.
Furniture Removal
Do you take mattresses and box springs?
Yes — mattresses, box springs, bed frames, and headboards. Mattress disposal in Kansas City is regulated, so we handle the fees and the routing — you don't have to think about it.

Do you clear basements and attics too?
Yes — garages, basements, and attics are all the same job to us, and plenty of customers have us do two in one visit. Basements and attics just add stairs, which is our problem, not yours: we bring straps, dollies, and floor protection and carry everything up or down ourselves. You never have to move a box to the driveway first.
How much does a garage cleanout cost?

How long does a garage cleanout take?
Most two-car garages clear in 2–4 hours with a 2-person crew. Heavily packed garages or 3-car garages can run 5–8 hours.
Do I need to sort anything before you arrive?
No. The fastest version of this job is you standing in the driveway pointing. If you want a keep pile, make one before we arrive or point things out as we go — we only haul what you've approved.
Can you do it while I'm at work?
Usually, yes. Leave the garage open or share the door code, mark anything that stays, and we'll text you photos before and after. Questions mid-job go to your phone instead of waiting on your driveway.
Do you take freezers, mowers, and shop equipment?
Yes — freezers, fridges, mowers, tools, workbenches, and exercise equipment all go. For anything with an engine, run the fuel dry or siphon it first; gasoline itself can't ride in the trailer.
What can't you take from a garage?
We can't take wet or oil-based paint, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, or car batteries — those go to KC household hazardous waste (HHW), and we'll point you to the right local drop-off. Fully dried-out latex paint cans and small quantities of tires are sometimes workable — text us a photo first. Everything else is fair game.
Basement Cleanouts
How much does a basement cleanout cost in Kansas City?
Most basement cleanouts in the KC metro land between $250 and $650, depending on how full the basement is — that's our published whole-room to two-car-garage volume range applied downstairs. Stairs don't change the price; volume does. You get an exact written quote on-site before we carry a single box.
Can you take water-damaged or musty items?
Yes — water-damaged furniture, carpet, and boxes are some of the most common things we haul out of KC basements. One honest boundary: if you've had standing water and there's visible mold growing on the walls or framing, hauling the contents is our job, but treating the structure is a remediation specialist's. We'll clear the junk so they can get to work.
Do I need to sort everything before you arrive?
No. Walk down with us, point at what goes, and we handle the rest — including separating anything donate-able as we load. If a keep-pile emerges halfway through, that's fine too; the final price is based on what actually leaves in the truck.
Attic Cleanouts
How much does an attic cleanout cost?
Our trip minimum is $100, and most attic clear-outs run $200–$425 — the published quarter-truck to whole-room volume range. Access (pull-down stairs vs. a hatch and ladder) affects time but the price is still set by the truck space your stuff fills, confirmed in a written on-site quote first.
Can you remove attic insulation?
Loose-fill insulation removal is specialty work, not a junk job — and old vermiculite insulation can contain asbestos, which we legally can't haul. Boxed and bagged contents, furniture, fans, and decor are all fair game. If you're not sure what's up there, text us a photo and we'll tell you in 30 seconds.
Will you work in a finished attic or bonus room?
Absolutely — finished attics and bonus rooms are just easier versions of the same job. We lay floor protection on the stairs, carry everything down, and sweep before we go.
Estate Cleanouts
How much does an estate cleanout cost in Kansas City?
Every estate is different, so we quote in person: a free walkthrough, then one written number for the whole job — not an hourly meter. For scale, a full trailer load runs $550, and most whole-house cleanouts take several loads. The quote is the price; it doesn't grow unless the scope does.
How soon can you start?
We can usually walk the property within a day or two and start the same week. We work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. If a closing date or a listing deadline is driving this, tell us — we'll work backwards from it.
Do we need to be there while you work?
No. We can work from a key, a lockbox code, or a realtor letting us in, and we text photos as rooms clear. Estate cleanouts are often run entirely by family in another state.
What happens to everything you haul out?
Anything usable is offered to local KC charities first — when items are donated, we send a receipt within 14 days listing where they went. The rest is disposed of properly.
What if there are things the family wants to keep?
Walk us through before we start — anything you point out stays, and we only haul what you've approved. If you can't be there, mark keep-items with tape or send us a photo list, and tell us what to watch for; we'll set aside anything you've flagged.
Do you buy items or run estate sales?
No — we're the crew for after those decisions are made. If an estate sale or auction is happening, run it first; we clear whatever's left.
Can you coordinate with my realtor or out-of-state family?
Yes. Estate cleanouts are often coordinated by out-of-state adult children. We text or email photos before and after, communicate directly with the realtor, can hold a key, and send the donation receipt so everyone can see where items went.

Most single-family homes clear in one to two working days, depending on how full the house is. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote after the walkthrough.
Construction Debris Removal
Do you take asbestos, lead, or hazardous building materials?
No — those require specialty abatement contractors. For everything else (drywall, lumber, tile, demo waste, cabinets, flooring), we are your team.
Can you bill my contractor or my LLC?
Yes. We can invoice on net-15 terms for active contractor accounts. Just let us know who's responsible for billing.
Same-Day Hauling
How do I get a same-day junk removal quote?

Is there a same-day premium?
No same-day premium for standard residential pickups. Very large same-day jobs (multi-truck) may carry a small expedite fee — we always tell you upfront.
Do you offer emergency junk removal?
Same-day is our version of emergency service: we hold slots open on weekdays from 8am to 5pm, and most urgent requests — a failed inspection, a surprise move-out, storm debris blocking a driveway — are handled within hours. We're not an overnight service, but if you reach us during open hours, we move fast.
Property Cleanouts
What's the difference between a property cleanout and an estate cleanout?
An estate cleanout is usually tied to a death or downsizing and involves sorting keepsakes with extra care. A property cleanout is about fully emptying a property — a rental turnover, foreclosure, pre-sale clear-out, or hoarding situation — so it's ready for the next tenant, buyer, or listing. We do both and tailor the pace and sorting to the situation.
How much does a property cleanout cost in Kansas City?
It depends on volume — a studio turnover and a four-bedroom hoarding cleanout are not the same job. We price by how much space the contents actually fill rather than by the room or the hour, and most whole-property jobs run more than one load. How fast can you turn a rental around?

Do you clean the property, or just haul everything out?
We haul — we don't deep-clean. Everything comes out and we sweep up behind ourselves, so the property is broom-clean and ready for your cleaner, painter, or carpet crew. If you need scrubbing, carpet shampooing, or paint, you'll want a turnover cleaning service after us.
Can you handle a foreclosure or eviction cleanout?
Yes, both are regular work for us. The one thing we need from you is written authorization to dispose of the contents, because Missouri and Kansas both have rules about tenant property after an eviction. If the set-out has already happened or the redemption period has run, bring the paperwork and we'll clear it. Section 7 of our terms covers this — it protects you as much as it protects us.
Do you work with property managers running multiple properties?
Yes, and it's the work we're built for. For multiple units we'll put a certificate of insurance and a W-9 on file, keep one point of contact, and invoice instead of taking a card at the door. Send the address and access details and we handle the rest — most repeat property work runs without anyone from the management office being on site.
Can you handle a property cleanout if I'm out of state?
Yes. Many of our property cleanouts are booked by out-of-state owners, landlords, and realtors. We can use a lockbox or hold a key, text photos before and after, provide a donation log, and bill you remotely — you never have to be on-site.
