Above-Ground Pool Removal in Kansas City
We drain it the right way, take it apart, and haul every piece away.
An old above-ground pool takes up half the yard, and taking one apart is a bigger job than it looks: thousands of gallons of water, a liner, steel or resin walls, a frame, a ladder, and the sand base underneath. We do the whole job. We test the water and drain it the right way, take the pool apart, carry every piece out, and haul it away. If you want the sand base or pads gone too, we call in a utility locate first and then take them out. If you're putting in a new pool, we can leave the base. We work at houses, townhomes and rental homes across the KC metro. Text us a few photos and the pool's size, and we'll send you a price.

Real customers across the Kansas City metro, in their own words.
“These guys are amazing. Called them needing junk removed, with the only access to the property being a closed road under construction. They gave me a quote and came out same day - took multiple trips, cleaned up the entire area, and were extremely courteous and professional. Will absolutely use again - very reasonably priced, efficient, and did the job better than I even expected! Could not recommend more.”
“Very professional they came out the same day we called them and got our whole basement cleaned out! Would highly recommend them to anyone!”
“Called Royal Jun Pros on a Friday morning and they were on site within 4 hours and took care of everything. Received before and after photos of what needed to be cleaned up and they also repaired my fence while on site. A definite 5 star company and will use them again when needed. Great job!”
“Had Royal Junk Pros come out to clean my garage, and they did a great job. I had a bunch of old junk and random stuff that had piled up over the years, and they got everything loaded up way faster than I expected. They showed up when they said they would, were friendly and professional, and made the whole process really easy.”
“After I sent a text to the guys via the website, they sent an estimate quickly and a time they could come pick up my items. They were communicative, professional, and polite! They were at my house same day and got everything I needed hauled away. Super easy and reasonably priced!”
“Dominic and Austin turned up less than 24 hours after I called. They worked quickly and I appreciate their diligence. They had me back at work in no time, which I guess isn't their fault lol”

FAQ
Common questions about pool
It depends on the size of the pool, what's around it, and whether the sand base comes out too. Text us a few photos and the pool's size and we'll send you a price, then confirm it in writing on-site before we start. Every job has our $125 trip minimum.
Yes. Stop adding chlorine about a week before we come. We test the water first, and it only goes onto the lawn, or into a sewer cleanout where the city allows it, once the chlorine is gone. Chlorinated water and filter backwash never go into the street or a storm drain. Some cities, like Lenexa, don't allow pool water in the storm drain at all, so there it goes onto the lawn.
Yes. Pulling up the sand base or the pads under the posts counts as digging, so we call in a free utility locate first, which takes at least two working days. If you're putting in a new pool, we can leave the base where it is.
We haul them once they're disconnected. If they plug into an outlet, we unplug them. If they're hardwired or run on gas, an electrician or plumber has to disconnect them first. We don't do electrical or gas work.
We can, but the pool comes out first or on the same visit. Most cities require a barrier around a pool for as long as the pool is there, so we never leave a standing pool without its fence.
No. In-ground pools are a demolition job that needs permits, and decks around a pool are a separate job. We take down above-ground pools with their ladders, steps and equipment.
We do pool removal at homes: houses, townhomes, and duplexes and other buildings with up to four units. Commercial and apartment pools have their own rules, so we don't take those right now.
Yes, at any home. If the pool is already apart, we just haul it, priced by the truck space it fills like any other junk.
