Royal Junk Pros is the local, family-owned alternative to the franchise trucks. We treat your home like our own. We even built our service standard into our name.
We started Royal Junk Pros to do junk removal better.
Most junk removal customers tell us the same story: they called the national guys, got a vague quote, waited half a day for the crew to show up, and ended up paying more than they expected. That's a low bar, and we figured we could clear it.
Royal Junk Pros is an Independence, MO-based junk removal company serving the Kansas City metro. We're local. We're owner-operated. We text before we arrive, we put down floor blankets, and we quote you in writing on-site.
There's no trick to it. We wrote a five-letter operating standard called R.O.Y.A.L., and both of us work to it. You'll notice it on the job.

- Starting at $125 for a single item; a full 26-foot box truck is $2,200. Whole houses start at $1,300 and are quoted after a free walkthrough. All prices.
- Tear-outs
At homes, we pull up old carpet, laminate, tile and hardwood floors, take out kitchen cabinets and vanities, take drywall off walls and ceilings, and take down above-ground pools, then haul it all away. Each has its own rule:
- Carpet Removal: Carpet, pad and tack strip.
- Laminate Floor Removal: Floating click-together laminate and the foam under it.
- Tile Removal: Floor tile and backer board. We stop at old black glue.
- Hardwood Floor Removal: Nailed or stapled wood floors, homes built in 1978 or later.
- Cabinet Removal: Homes built in 1978 or later. Your plumber caps the lines first.
- Drywall Removal: Homes built in 1978 or later. Your electrician or plumber disconnects first.
- Above-Ground Pool Removal: Above-ground pools only. Water tested before it drains.
Tear-outs never include:
- Wall tile, shower surrounds or backsplashes
- Textured or popcorn ceilings, or plaster and lath walls
- Old vinyl, linoleum, or the black glue under old floors
- Glued-down floors, stair treads or subfloors
- In-ground pools and decks
- Plumbing, gas or electrical disconnects (a licensed pro does those first)
- Tear-outs at offices, stores or apartment buildings with five or more units
