A Kansas City attic in July can hit 130 degrees, the footing is joists and ladders, and everything up there has to come down one armload at a time — which is why attic clear-outs get put off for years. We bring the crew that actually likes this job. We hand down boxes, holiday bins, old fans, luggage, and the furniture somebody wrestled up there decades ago, sort keep/donate/haul piles on the floor below with you, and take the haul pile away the same visit. In summer we'll book you an early-morning slot so the heat stays reasonable. One expert note for older KC homes: if your attic has old loose-fill vermiculite insulation, leave it undisturbed — vermiculite from that era can contain asbestos, which is on our can't-haul list; we'll work around it and point you to licensed abatement if it ever needs to go.

What's included

  • We do the ladder and pull-down-stairs work
  • Boxes, holiday decor, furniture, fans
  • Sort as we go: keep, donate, haul
  • Early-morning slots in summer heat
  • Closed up and swept after

These guys are amazing. Called them needing junk removed, with the only access to the property being a closed road under construction. They gave me a quote and came out same day - took multiple trips, cleaned up the entire area, and were extremely courteous and professional. Will absolutely use again - very reasonably priced, efficient, and did the job better than I even expected! Could not recommend more.

Called Royal Jun Pros on a Friday morning and they were on site within 4 hours and took care of everything. Received before and after photos of what needed to be cleaned up and they also repaired my fence while on site. A definite 5 star company and will use them again when needed. Great job!

FAQ

Common questions about attic

Our trip minimum is $100, and most attic clear-outs run $200–$425 — the published quarter-truck to whole-room volume range. Access (pull-down stairs vs. a hatch and ladder) affects time but the price is still set by the truck space your stuff fills, confirmed in a written on-site quote first.

Loose-fill insulation removal is specialty work, not a junk job — and old vermiculite insulation can contain asbestos, which we legally can't haul. Boxed and bagged contents, furniture, fans, and decor are all fair game. If you're not sure what's up there, text us a photo and we'll tell you in 30 seconds.

Absolutely — finished attics and bonus rooms are just easier versions of the same job. We lay floor protection on the stairs, carry everything down, and sweep before we go.
