Levasy is a village of about a hundred people in the river bottoms of northeast Jackson County, on Highway 24 between Buckner and the Lafayette County line. It's 25 minutes from Independence, and it's inside our core area for the same reason Buckner and Sibley are: it's on our eastern route, and Jackson County is home.
