The short version
- We collect only what you give us on the quote form or in the site chat (name, phone, address, optional email, optional photos).
- We use it to call/text you back about your junk-removal job.
- We never sell, rent, or share it with third parties for marketing.
- Cookieless, anonymized page-view analytics (Vercel Analytics) always runs; anything more (Google Analytics, session replay, ad pixels) loads only if you accept it in the cookie banner.
What we collect
When you submit our quote form, we receive:
- Your name and phone number (required)
- Your service address or ZIP (required, so we can quote accurately)
- Your email (optional)
- Photos of the items to be removed (optional)
- The job type and timing you selected
- Any notes you added
If you use the chat widget, we receive the messages you type there. Like any web service, our hosting provider also processes standard technical data (such as your IP address) in server logs and to prevent abuse of our forms and chat — we don't use that data to profile you.
We also collect basic anonymized site analytics (pages viewed, device type, country) via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
The chat assistant (AI)
The chat bubble on this site is an automated AI assistant. Messages you type are sent to Anthropic (the AI provider) to generate the reply, along with the earlier messages in that same conversation so the assistant can follow context. Chat conversations are used to answer your question — not for advertising, and never sold. Practical tips: the assistant's answers are general information, not a binding quote (see our Terms), and there's no need to type sensitive personal information into the chat — a name and phone number is plenty if you want us to follow up.
How we use it
- To reply to your quote request by phone, text, or email
- To complete the job if you book us
- To send you a donation receipt where applicable
- To improve our site (aggregate analytics only)
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business:
- Email delivery (Resend) — to send your quote confirmation (photos you upload are attached to that email)
- SMS delivery (Twilio) — to text you back
- Hosting and secure lead storage (Vercel; Neon) — to operate this website and keep a record of quote requests
- AI chat (Anthropic) — to generate chat-assistant replies, as described above
- Analytics (Vercel Analytics) — anonymized site usage
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. They are not allowed to use your information for their own marketing.
SMS messaging
By submitting our quote form and providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Royal Junk Pros related to your quote request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. We do not send marketing texts unless you explicitly opt in.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and tracking scripts. They fall into three categories, and you can choose which ones to allow from the cookie banner the first time you visit (or anytime via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer):
- Essential — required for the quote form, booking calendar, and basic site navigation. These are always on and don't track you across other sites.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replay). Only loaded if you accept the Analytics category. Used to understand which pages help customers; not used for ads.
- Marketing — Google Tag Manager and Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Only loaded if you accept the Marketing category. Used to measure our Facebook and Google ad campaigns.
Vercel Analytics (basic aggregate page views) is cookieless and runs without setting identifiers. Until you make a choice in the cookie banner, no analytics or marketing scripts load at all.
Two more things in the interest of completeness. First, our service-area map is an embedded Google Map; content loaded inside that frame comes from Google and is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Second, we use your browser's local storage (not cookies) for a few strictly functional things: remembering your cookie choice, remembering details you typed into our quote form so you don't have to retype them, and remembering that you closed our offer popup. That data stays in your browser — it isn't sent to anyone.
How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS, quote requests are transmitted encrypted, and access to lead records is limited to the owner. No system is perfectly secure, but we deliberately collect little and keep access narrow.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@royaljunkpros.com. We'll confirm deletion within 7 days, and we will never treat you differently for asking. We may retain records of completed jobs for accounting purposes (typically 7 years, per tax requirements). We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Children's privacy
Our services and this website are intended for adults 18 and older. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us their information, email info@royaljunkpros.com and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
