The job itself is mostly tedious: unhooking dozens of springs (a spring-pull tool helps and saves your fingers) and unbolting the frame. Then there's the pile. A trampoline in pieces is a lot of awkward steel, and you'll want a metal recycler rather than a landfill. If the springs are rusted solid, expect to fight every one.
