Office cleanouts spike in two windows: lease-end cycles (often June and December) and post-merger consolidations. KC has a steady volume of both. Here's what 2026 office cleanouts actually cost across the metro.
How much does an office cleanout cost by size?
- Small office (under 1,500 sq ft, basic furniture): $450–$850
- Medium office (1,500–5,000 sq ft, full cubicle systems): $850–$2,450
- Large office (5,000–15,000 sq ft, dense build-out): $2,850–$8,500

What's included, and what costs extra?
Standard scope: cubicle systems, desks, chairs, conference tables, breakroom furniture, paper waste, fluorescent fixtures (where loose), TVs, and general office equipment. Extra-quote items: server-room equipment with data-destruction requirements, large built-in millwork, fixed installations.
COI is standard
We provide a Certificate of Insurance same-day to building managers, property managers, and HOAs. Most KC office buildings require one before freight-elevator access, so we're used to it.
Donation routing for usable furniture
Where furniture is still in good shape, we route to KC-area nonprofits. Habitat ReStore takes desks and chairs; furniture banks accept conference tables and lobby seating. You receive a donation receipt for tax purposes within 14 days.
Data security
We don't do data destruction ourselves. If you have hard drives, file servers, or sensitive paper records, we recommend having a certified shredding/data-destruction contractor handle those first. We'll haul the wiped or shredded remains.
Can you work around business hours?
For occupied buildings, we book the first slot of the morning so the work is done before the floor fills up. We run Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Tell us which entrance and elevator to use and we'll work around your tenants.
