The process

1. We drain the tub completely (you can drain it before we arrive to speed things up)
2. We disconnect plumbing — but NOT electrical (your electrician needs to handle that)
3. We cut the tub into manageable pieces if needed (typically 4–8 pieces with a recip saw)
4. We load and haul to a KC transfer station; the metal is recycled, the shell goes to disposal
5. We clean up the area where the tub was sitting
