Royal Junk Pros vs College HUNKS in Kansas City
How Royal Junk Pros compares to College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving in the Kansas City metro.
College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving built one of the best-known service brands in the country on the back of their HUNKS acronym (Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable, Service). They're an excellent choice if you also need a mover. For junk-removal-only jobs, we offer the same professional standard, beat any written quote for the same job by 10%, and stick to hauling. We don't do moving.
Great choice for these reasons
- ●Iconic brand and crew-personality positioning (the HUNKS acronym)
- ●Bundled moving + junk removal in one company
- ●Strong donation tie-in (meals donated per job via U.S. Hunger)
- ●10M+ clients served system-wide; mature operations
Where we're different
Junk-removal-only focus
We don't do moving, so our pricing isn't cross-subsidized by a moving side. You pay only for the junk-removal job.
Owner accountability
An owner of Royal Junk Pros answers the phone. College HUNKS routes through a franchise office, and the local franchise owner may or may not be the person on your job.
No franchise overhead
Franchise royalties at College HUNKS add roughly 10–15% to the local job price. We don't carry that overhead.

Real customers across the Kansas City metro, in their own words.
“These guys are amazing. Called them needing junk removed, with the only access to the property being a closed road under construction. They gave me a quote and came out same day - took multiple trips, cleaned up the entire area, and were extremely courteous and professional. Will absolutely use again - very reasonably priced, efficient, and did the job better than I even expected! Could not recommend more.”
“Very professional they came out the same day we called them and got our whole basement cleaned out! Would highly recommend them to anyone!”
“Called Royal Jun Pros on a Friday morning and they were on site within 4 hours and took care of everything. Received before and after photos of what needed to be cleaned up and they also repaired my fence while on site. A definite 5 star company and will use them again when needed. Great job!”
“Had Royal Junk Pros come out to clean my garage, and they did a great job. I had a bunch of old junk and random stuff that had piled up over the years, and they got everything loaded up way faster than I expected. They showed up when they said they would, were friendly and professional, and made the whole process really easy.”
“After I sent a text to the guys via the website, they sent an estimate quickly and a time they could come pick up my items. They were communicative, professional, and polite! They were at my house same day and got everything I needed hauled away. Super easy and reasonably priced!”
“Dominic and Austin turned up less than 24 hours after I called. They worked quickly and I appreciate their diligence. They had me back at work in no time, which I guess isn't their fault lol”
